My 365 - Week 1

My 365 is a personal project for myself to make sure i keep taking photos. This is to make sure my mind stays fresh and at the end of the 365 days, i would have a personal collection of pictures to look back onto.
All of us can have a personal collection of 365 photos and the best thing would be that all of the pictures would be different. That is why i love photography. I will be uploading My 365 pictures on a weekly basis, 7 pictures at a go.

This was taken before breakfast. I noticed the aging condition of the signage, and resulted in this shot.

This was taken during the Chingay celebrations. The Chingay celebration is a festival where Buddhists come out and pay their respects to the Chinese Gods as the statues are brought along the streets of Johor until the wee hours of the night. I particularly like this picture as it clearly shows the enormous amount of people paying their homage to the gods.

This is a picture of Yong Tau Foo, a local dish served in Chinese cuisine. Food such as beancurd, bittergourd, eggplant and chilli is stuffed with meat and served cooked with a special sauce.

I took this on a photo trip down town in my hometown, Johor. Upon spotting this bird, i knew i had the appropriate focal length to capture a picture of it as i was using my 70-200mm F/4 lens. I then processed it with Lightroom and Photoshop to bring out its colours and contrast.

This was taken during my flight to Bandung, Indonesia.   I was fortunate to have hand-carried my camera gear, which resulted in this shot.

This was taken in Paris Van Java, a mall in Bandung. The entire mall had its fair share of unique lighting options, and i was lucky to have spotted this beautiful collection of lamps up in the roofing.

This 3 shot panorama was taken in my hotel room in Bandung. The skies were fairly dull throughout my trip, and i managed to capture this with several clouds available.
